The Best Soap Free Body Wash I’ve ever used.

Welcome to the very first Jen and Jo Show!

This is a very exciting and also a bit scary. My good friend, Jen and I have decided to go LIVE! We’re keeping it real though, and it’s not going to be a super edited show – you’ll get the good, the bad and the funny rolled into one.

Anyway, here goes! We’re really excited to be demonstrating why you should care about what you put on your skin. We’re also going to share with you some of the best everyday soap free body cleansing products – products which really work for their keep.

This post contains a video in which we demonstrate a little magic show to show you what's happening to your skin when you use everyday bathroom products from the supermarket. Check it out! And we'll also suggest a great soap free body wash you can buy which you're going to love!

As an avocado farmer’s wife living in rural South West Australia Jen knows a thing or two about healthy living. She often shares the most fantastic tips about food and supplements when we get together for a coffee, and is often filling me in about the science behind beauty products – especially when it comes to looking after your skin as you get older – oh and she looks AB FAB too!

Which leads on to our first video ‘Show’ in which we’ve conjured up a little magic show for you:  “The difference demonstrated” when it comes to the best soap free body wash.

So before you watch the video, and before you scroll down to buy the products – let me ask you a question – do you know what you’re putting on your skin in the bathroom?

Check out the price of the Liquid Body Bar here, and the soap free body cleanser, the Body Bar here.

Body Bar and Liquid Body Bar

Jen and I both use these products and love them. Sometimes I fall off the bandwagon and revert to supermarket offerings, but I always come back to these products because my skin always feels so much better.

Whether you prefer a bar cleanser or a body wash you’re covered – because this product comes in both a soap free soap bar and a liquid pump.

Why buy these body cleansers over other brands?

  1. They’re  soapless body cleansers which still remove dirt, oil and impurities.
  2. The ingredients are designed to nourish, condition and soothe.
  3.  And the science bit? A unique blend of humectants that drench your skin with moisture 🙂 (Don’t worry I don’t get this either!).

What Jen and I really love though, has little to do with the science, but everything to do with the  aromatic grapefruit scent – in fact the liquid body bar is great for the whole family because our boys also love it’s citrus tang.

“I love this in my kitchen. The grapefruit scent is great for kitchen hands – you know, especially when you’ve been chopping something like onions! The grapefruit aroma of the liquid body bar is so refreshing. I keep it in my guest bathroom too, and I’m always getting compliments about how nice it smells,” Jen says.

Check out the price of the Body Cleansing Gel here.

Body Cleansing Gel

Jen and I love this cleansing gel.

Personally, I find it makes my skin feel clean, fresh, supple and soft –  unlike ordinary soaps which often makes my skin feel tight and stripped of its natural oils. (Right now, I’ve just had my hands immersed in the sink in washing up liquid, and my skin feels really tight and horrible – you know that feeling?)

Anyway, the Body Cleansing Gel is a soap-free cleansing gel for the body which combines mild cleansers with natural aloe vera.

“The Body Cleansing Gel is gentle enough for children too, and I’ve found it’s also a great soap free body wash for eczema and other skin conditions like dermatitis and acne. My son swapped his normal soap for the Body Cleansing Gel, and found that his acne breakouts on his back (that he’d really struggled with) cleared up,” Jen says.

That’s it folks! Hope you enjoyed the video as much as we enjoyed making it. We had a few belly laughs when we first watched it play 🙂

    Hello Johanna
I use natural products for body, makeup and cleaning.
Most conventional body washes contain toxic chemicals!
I make my own body wash using lavender, vitamin E,
jojoba oil or essential oils and castille soap.
It cleanses my skin, kills bacteria and provides nourishment and vitamins to keep me healthy.
    Have a wonderful weekend Johanna!
