Hello Everyone, what an exciting post this is because I’m combining some fabulous Giveaways but in the aid of a great cause … #Frocktober2015. Yep, it’s Giveaways for the month of Frocktober right up until 31st October, 2015 – in support of cancer research.
Some of you might have heard of Frocktober? It’s in aid of ovarian cancer research and I’m hoping to raise $700 for the cause. What I’m meant to do is wear a dress every day, that’s 31 dresses for October, but I’ll be travelling and in all honesty that’s just not going to happen. So who better to make famous than some of you lovely Lifestylers?
So here’s the deal.
To be in with a chance to win one of the cool Spring Giveaway items below, you need to comment on this post. If you would like to (not compulsory) email me a pic of you in a frock ( (to jo at jocastro dot com) and I’ll include you in my Frocktober happenings in a post on the Blog. It would be so awesome if you’d get involved. There are more details at the bottom of this post.
But for now … what could you win? There are 12 Prizes, split up as follows …

A Collector’s Book
Watermark Publishing has recently published a beautiful coffee table book entitled ‘Just what the doctor ordered’ – A guide to the Australian idiom. I love it. It’s full of amusing pictures and funny words, with colloquial reference – a dose of Australiana. It’s a boxed collector’s piece including 170 pictures by outback artist Howard Steer and a thousand humorous Australian sayings, or idiom, compiled by Peter Nicholson. The RRP is AUD$65 and it’s been featured on the Today Show and on ABC RAdio 891. If you’re a book lover, like me, this is one for your collection.

Good Luck Everyone, and Thank Your for supporting #Frocktober2015 which raises funds and awareness for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation. One woman dies every ten hours from ovarian cancer. There is currently no early detection test. Women are usually diagnosed in the late stages of the disease – when the cancer has spread to other organs in the body. By raising awareness we can help fight cancer.
Alternatively if you don’t want to enter the giveaway, please consider donating a small amount to my Everyday Hero page for Ovarian Cancer here: Donate Frocktober (no amount is too small).
This competition is now closed: Emails have been sent to the winners. Well done, Cheryl, Lesley, Janet, Em, Kathy, Karen, Beth, Bernadette, Jan and Emily and thank you for taking part!
