If you would like to (not compulsory) email me a pic of you in a frock ( (to jo at jocastro dot com) and I’ll include you in my Frocktober happenings in a post on the Blog. It would be so awesome if you’d get involved. There are more details at the bottom of this post.
But for now … what could you win? There are 12 Prizes, split up as follows …

Good Luck Everyone, and Thank Your for supporting #Frocktober2015 whichย raises funds and awareness for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.ย One woman dies every ten hours from ovarian cancer. There is currently no early detection test. Women are usually diagnosed in the late stages of the disease – when the cancer has spread to other organs in the body. By raising awareness we can help fight cancer.
Alternatively if you don’t want to enter the giveaway, please consider donating a small amount to my Everyday Hero page for Ovarian Cancer here: Donate Frocktoberย (no amount is too small).
This competition is now closed: ย Emails have been sent to the winners. Well done, Cheryl, Lesley, Janet, Em, Kathy, Karen, Beth, Bernadette, Jan and Emily and thank you for taking part!
I’m so excited about winning and whenever a courier arrives near our house I wonder if it is my surprise! Thanks Jo.
Should be with you any time soon, Aus Post permitting, Jan ๐

I know Karen … can’t believe how quickly it’s coming around again ๐
Cant go past a romantic movie ๐ love a good night in with the hubby.
You’re just like me Karen – feet up, good movie and a cup of tea with my hubby.
Hi Jo,
I would love the beauty products or the wine glasses would also be handy. As a motorhomer we don’t get to frock up much but I will be emailing one taken when we went out to dinner . Thanks for your great posts always find them helpful.
Keep up the good work
Lesley
Thank you Lesley. I understand the disparity between motorhoming and frocking-up ๐ I was the same when we went on a brief trip to Tasmania – always in cut offs or jeans. Thanks for sending in a pic too ๐
Hi Jo,
What a wonderful idea and what an interesting and diverse selection of prizes. I would love to win the Smart Cup. The innovation and use of Smart technology appeals to me as well as being Australian made. Anything that makes getting coffee easier is a definite winner!
Good luck with the Frocktober fundraising.
Bernadette
Thanks Bernadette ๐
Great idea for Frocktober Jo! Can I tag you in a pic on IG? Haha, I have 14 days of Frocktober snaps to pick from so far! Love the idea of the skin cream. My skin always needs help!
Hi Em, Thank you! Yes, will check out your IG feed ๐
Hi Jo!
What a great selection of giveaways and such a great cause! I’d love to win those some glasses as my hubby and I are big campers and they would be really useful!
Good luck with froktober I shall be following!
Beth
Thanks Beth!
Love this! Thanks for hosting the giveaway.
I’d love to win ‘Just What the Doctor Ordered’. I’m a word nerd book collector from WAAAAY back: I love anything word-related, but especially books with an Australian focus. This book is just what the doctor ordered both literally and metaphorically!
Hi Emily. Thanks for popping by. Haha it’s a book of many different facets for sure ๐
Hi Jo, I’ve only just got around to getting a photo of myself. We went to a coffee shop this morning and I got out one of my favourite frocks which our kids gave me. I’ll email the photo to you. I don’t need to win anything Jo but all of the prizes look wonderful.
Hi Jan, Thanks so much for this. I’ve received your email ๐
They all sound great Jo – I’d find it hard to choose between the beauty products, the book, and the DVD! Sending you a pic soon xxx
Thanks Janet, look forward to getting your pic ๐
Love it Jo. We do a thing at work for Frocktober. None of the girls (and I don’t think many of the boys…) wear dresses much (and most of us couldn’t come up with enough dresses to go the whole month). It’s an office and a warehouse and we all wear tees, hoodies, jeans most of the time at work. In October we pick a date, do a morning tea, wear a dress (and high heels!) and organise raffles and such to raise money. The boys have to wear a shirt and tie (fluoro safety vest optional). Last year one of the boys wore a white shirt, tie, black jacket … and a skirt. Such fun. Good on you Jo! Such a worthy cause. x
Ahhh that sounds such fun Cheryl! Good on you too ๐
This is a great cause Jo. If I had a camera tripod I would probably get involved as well, but I am already doing a photo challenge a day called “Feet on my home town” on Instagram. I will look forward to seeing you in a frock each day during October. I think I could do with the beauty products or the romantic movie dvd wouldn’t be bad either. ๐
Thanks Kathy, and best of everything for your October challenge too x
What a worthy cause and great collection of goodies. Those spill-proof wine glasses are fantastic! I’m in Canada so don’t qualify but have shared through my network!
Thanks so much Michelle!
Hi Jo, Lovely idea but sadly I am not in Aus ๐ Good luck with it!
Not so fast Janet! Having a family member address counts and you could pick up the prize if you win ๐
