Until next time,
I went online to have a peek,
I just donโt know what I should seek;
The Birdcage is the one for me,
I love those sleeves from here to thee;
The Matisse Dress just looks the best,
An artsy choice would pass the test;
Or Cross My Heartโs a beauty too,
I will not die if that I woo;
I asked my man for he doth know,
Which dress for me would steal the show;
Ziggy Bell Twist is what he chose,
So there you have it from one who knows.
Ha Ha, Wanda – a fabulous ditty. Good luck!
The Red Rosette dress would fit the bill as it’s not a colour I normally wear and I’m looking forward to a
“Red” day at Morphettville racecourse, birthday lunch with family at the members restaurant on 8th March!
Red Rosettes and Races – that seems to go together well, Lesley! Good Luck!
Living in the tropical city of Cairns, I would love to win a Verily prism kaftan to look fashionably cool and effortless – all year round.
Hi Pip, Yes that Verily prism kaftan would be great for lovely Cairns!
Jo I loved that bell twist front little black dress you wore in your post a couple of weeks ago. I don’t own a little black dress – so I think it is time to upgrade my going out in the evening wardrobe with a little black dress! It looked so slimming and stylish on you – hopefully it would look the same on me! So stylish and so easy to dress up with different accessories to create different looks.
I’m sure it would look just as lovely on you too Jill. Good luck!
I don’t have a blog but I would love to win a clothing voucher. I’d like to swing around the jungle in a jungle swing dress, with Tarzan of course ๐
That sounds Racey, Belle. Wondering who your Tarzan might be! Good luck ๐
Yay Verily Yay!
Iโd choose the little black dress
What do you say?
Fabric youโll love to caress
So beautifully made
Easy to wear
Even easier care
Maybe the red, Iโd even parade
A slimming line
Will warrant a stare
Youโve lost weight
They will declare
A fashion show for Jo
Seventy, fifty or sixty
Weโll do a photo shoot
For lifestyle fifty
Just a small correction to the last verse – it should read: (for better rhyme)
A fashion show for Jo
Seventy, fifty or sixty
We’ll shoot a photo
For Lifestyle fifty!
Yes ๐ i think so too Ingrid ๐ you have been working hard!
Oh very good, Ingrid!! This certainly made me chuckle! Thanks for taking the time and of course Good Luck!!
My Choice would be the Blue Flower Twist Dress to add a pretty floral touch to my wardrobe!
It’s pretty, isn’t it Catherine ๐ Good luck!
Verily, merrily, I dream of you,
What will I buy to look like new;
A dress, I say, makes me look my best,
And no iron required to delay my quest;
If anyone asks from where it hails,
Iโll tell them โVerilyโs from whence it sails!โ
Your ditties are memorable Wanda! Made me smile ๐ Thanks for entering and Good Luck!
They have so many great choices. I’ve never heard of this company so thanks for the introduction. I’m with the majority on the Red Bell Twist Dress. It’s flirty and looks fun and who doesn’t look good in Red? I’m not too good with being creative or amusing and I’ve already seen some way better comments than mine already ๐
Seems like the Red Bell Twost dress is the flavour of the post Mary. Thanks for joining in and Good Luck!
Thanks SO much for this chance to win, Jo. I don’t need to take long to decide which item I’d spend my winning voucher on – it would definitely be the Bell Twist dress in RED! Yes, I’m a red girl through and through! Your review of your Bell Twist dress recently made me realize how perfect it would be for my upcoming travels. The floaty material looks fabulous and I can imagine myself swirling my way around Paris in the dress, sipping cappuccino beside Lake Como in it and perhaps even hitting the Opera in Vienna. What a fabulously versatile dress. And then you tell me it doesn’t crush – a traveller’s dream! Oh and did I mention that the style would be perfect for covering my less-than-perfect bits. My fingers are crossed! ๐
Definitely think you would be a fab ‘Girl in Red’ Carolyn. Loving your reasons! Best of luck ๐
When you modeled your little black dress,Jo, I had a look at the Verily website, Jo. I had a good look at that photo too because I could see no trace of the ’rounded’ tummy you spoke of.
So the question I had to ask was, ‘Would a Verily outfit disguise my rather too ample curves? Would I too look a million dollars in a Verily garment?
Well, this offer presents a fool-proof opportunity to test this out!
However, not to put Verily to too much of a test, I chose the grey top with the frill around neckline and bottom. This would cover arms, the muscles of which are not as firm as they used to be, a bottom and thighs that put me into the pear-shaped category and a tummy that is perhaps a little more than gently rounded.
Good luck with this challenge, Leonie.
Love love love your comments Denise, and yes! Over to Leonie ๐ Good luck in the Giveaway ๐
Hi Denise, the ‘Hippy Shake Dress’ is a beautifully detailed and easy style to wear. Grey is sold out but I have a few left in other colours: http://www.verily.com.au/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=vmj_naru.tpl&product_id=220&category_id=18&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=63. The shorter ‘Hippy shake tunic’ is great to wear with leggings or tights.
Love the Hippy Shake Dress too, Leonie. Thanks for popping by to tell us this and keep everyone up to date ๐
Nothing short for me, Leonie. There are features of my anatomy that are best guessed at. The seat and upper legs need to be well covered at all times. Colour isn’t a big deal for me, however.
I can also relate to ‘there are features of my anatomy that are best guessed at,’ Denise! However, without doubt overall, you are gorgeous inside and out ๐
Who would have thought I could take so long looking through every section of the Verify site. It was an enjoyable way to spend what must have been a good 15 minutes of my time. I was even contemplating making a coffee to have while I browsed. Well shopping does make you thirsty. I chose the Reef Cowl dress as my favourite. It is an obvious choice really (but I had to look at everything first to make sure), because I love bright colours, the great barrier reef, sleeveless dresses that cover most of the shoulder, and cowl necklines. I mean it ticks all the boxes. ๐
Definitely a fan of Verily, I do believe Jan ! Such committment! Love that you know exactly what you want but only after lots of looking! Good luck!
I’m with Neva on the Red Bell Twist Dress. I love red dresses. I wear them at Christmas and everyone says how Christmasy I look, I wear them on Valentine’s Day and everyone says how romantic I look, I wear them on a cloudy winter day and everyone says how bright and cheery I look.
A bright red dress makes me feel bright and cheery too and that one has just the right amount of leg, arm and cleavage on show – not too much but not to little ๐
Love your take on how red makes you feel and what people say about you in a red dress. Good luck Annabel and thanks for entering ๐
You made me fall in love with that Red Bell Twist Dress. It’s so amazingly detailed, comfortable looking and swingy feminine. I wish this company would come to Salt Lake City, Utah. This would be my favorite store ever!
It’s a lovely dress to wear Neva, good choice. Well, who knows one day maybe they will come to Salt Lake City, in the meantime you can check them out online ๐ Thanks for entering and Good Luck!
