I love my Crocs, I really do. They are so comfortable. I know they’re a divisive form of footwear, not known as particularly stylish, and our daughters (along with many others) wouldn’t be seen dead in them. News is that the best Crocs now have Fanny packs attached to them? Seriously?
But it’s true. A Chinese company called Beams has collaborated with Crocs to produce a version of the popular perforated clog which has a miniature bum bag, or fanny pack attached to the back. It can also be worn at the front or over the top of the Croc.
In the fashion world the shoes have been met with a bemused response! I’m not totally surprised!
Comfortable Travelling Shoes
I’m always looking for comfortable shoes for walking, and travelling, and I love my Arcopedico’s and FRANKiE4s but I have to confess that I do also wear Crocs both at home and away.
For instance, I wear my army green classic Crocs when I’m gardening (the snails can’t spot me coming!) They are convenient to slip on, give my feet support and the perforated holes mean my feet stay cool and aired. I also like that apart from adding breathability the ventilation ports help shed water and debris quickly.
My Crocs sandals on the other hand, are great for sightseeing and walking and general errands like going to the shops. They are on high rotation while I’m travelling, and I’ve just bought two new pairs I’ve listed below to wear while I’m travelling in England and France this year.
They’re super light, so they are great for my suitcase weight, and super light on my feet means extra comfort too. Plus they have good underfoot padding which is really necessary for me these days.

That’s interesting Hope. Aha, so I’m in good company liking Crocs then! 🙂
You doll! I can’t imagine Crocs with fanny packs but to each his own. In fact, until this past weekend, I would have been with your family – not caught dead in Crocs. But my PC was advised to buy some for his plantar fasciatis. And he is LOVING them. So I have decided that it truly is not fair for me to judge without trying them myself, first. Will check out your links.
Lol! Maybe it just comes to us all Leslie! I hope you find a pair to suit you (and help save your soles!)
