When I was 17 I can remember saying to my Mum, “I never want to go on a boat or a plane and I never want to leave Devon.”
Eleven international relocations, and over 20 countries later ( even though these days I spend a lot of time at the computer) I’ve had to eat those words many times over.

At what point travel became my partner in crime, I can’t quite decide. Was it when I fell in love with a peripatetic geologist who I would later marry? Was it when I set off for Belgium with a rucksack and my guitar slung over my shoulder as an 18 year old? Was it when I first cast eyes on idyllic tropical beaches fringed by palm trees?
Who knows!
But with travel as my companion, this life of mine shows no giving up on her hand-hold, and for that I am of course very very grateful because travel broadens the mind, takes us out of our comfort zone, and quite often involves adventure.

Travel Friendly Shoes for Comfort and Style
Which leads me onto my quest to always try and travel in style. Not style for style’s sake you understand, but style as a way of dressing appropriately, looking as good as I can, and most of all feeling comfortable in what I’m wearing.
Shoes can often be a failure. My pathetically soft Pisces feet blister easily and scream loudly when tightly compressed in anything less than, shall we say, flexible.
So when I was contacted by FRANKiE4 footwear who are on a mission to ‘save soles’ I was delighted to say “Yes” when they offered me some new season sandals to take for a complimentary trot on my travels.
Here’s what I found and why I love FRANKiE4 shoes for travelling.
- They give great support in the right places. Designed by a podiatrist you know you’re onto a winning streak when it comes to the correct cushioning to reduce the impact on your joints.
- They are comfortable. Being leather, they stretch and mold to your feet the more you wear them. Some styles have adjustable velcro straps.
- They are functional and versatile. My covered ELLiEs* for instance have been worn with jeans, cut offs, knee length and long dresses.
- They are stylish to look at. Yes, I’ve been complimented often on my FRANKiEs.
- They are durable. I like to walk, and my shoes have to as well. My FRANKiEs have stood up well and I think will last many seasons.
I’ve spoken about travel shoes before in this post : Best Travel Shoes and How to Choose Them and here: The Most versatile travel shoes I’ve ever owned but one of Lifestyle Fifty’s readers recently asked …
How many pairs of sandals should I take on a summer trip away?
Well, I’d say the magic number is 2.
I’m talking about summer holidays. The sort where you’ll be doing a fair amount of sightseeing. You’ll also probably sneak in a comfy pair of trainers for more intense hikes, and a pair of thongs for the beach.
Walking Sandals
1 pair of sandals should be selected for walking. This is the pair of shoes which you will probably be wearing the majority of the time so they should offer good support and cushioning. You need support to your arches, heel and lots of cushioning to help reduce the impact to the joints. You don’t want tired and sore feet to get in the way of your sightseeing.
Dressy Sandals
Plus 1 dressier pair of sandals which gives you the option to dress up your outfits. Choose dainty sandals which look pretty that can also be worn for sightseeing. Look for adjustability, versatility and comfort. When you travel your feet can swell so having sandals with adjustable straps is a bonus. I’d stick to neutral colours that you can wear with the majority of your outfits.
Below, my MARGiEs* were my going out shoe of choice in Bali, where the adjustable straps were constantly being adjusted due to the intense heat and humidity.
One additional thing to take on board… pardon the pun
Always wear your travel shoes a few times before venturing off. Break them in!! Last thing you want is for your comfortable shoes to be uncomfortable on the first day!
There is an old maxim to bear in mind : When travelling, you are most likely to be either on your feet or in your bed. It pays to invest in both!

So how did FRANKiE4 come about?
FRANKiE4 was established in 2010 by Brisbane Physiotherapist and Podiatrist, Caroline McCulloch.
It was the day one of Caroline’s patients cried in the consultation room when she was prescribed a ‘comfort’ shoe as part of her treatment that Caroline realised that looking and feeling good was incredibly important to many women. They want to feel confident and stylish in what they are wearing, and not have to compromise on comfort.
FRANKiE4 footwear is designed to improve body mechanics and increase comfort with every step, all within stylish designs. Features include: the Functional Footbed which offers support and comfort from heel to toe, patented Custom Fit system which enables everyone to get a perfect fit, an asymmetrical shape to accommodate and complement the foot’s natural movement and the range also offers orthotic friendly options. FRANKiE4 prototypes undergo rigorous performance testing and quality control, including testing prototypes in Caroline’s two podiatry practices in Brisbane. Caroline and her team oversee the entire process from concept and design through to manufacturing.
The range of sandals, heels, boots, active flats and everyday flats are ideal for women on their feet all day, mothers, travellers, health professionals and active, busy women.
The Functional Footbed is designed to provide women with the ultimate foot support by cradling the heel, supporting the arches and cushioning the sole.

My husband and I will be heading overseas in May for seven weeks to celebrate his 60th birthday. I would love these shoes for our travels. Hopefully, they would make me look as gorgeous as you do in the photo of you wearing your Margies in Bali. So far I’m planning on wearing joggers every day of the trip. Margies would be far more glamorous!
While I may not be over 50, my husband and most of my friends are. It’s a much more interesting demographic than my own. Some are single, some married, some have children, others have grandchildren but they’re all working, holidaying and having the time of their lives. As for my husband and I, we have two young children who will turn 3 and 1 next month. Our holiday style has changed accordingly and we now travel locally or interstate instead of abroad, but that still doesn’t change packing requirements. I still want to be stylish, but I want to be comfortable too.
I was ‘soled’ on ELLiE the moment I saw them, perfect for running around after my two young ones. But PENNi is ‘toe-tally’ divine and will take me from morning ‘til night.
This brand of shoes Frankie 4 , are designed to satisfy what any woman looks for in a shoe Comfort, Style, Versatility and compliments her wardrobe……..something I’m very interested in trying , so let me win this competition and try the shoes.
I am running after two young boys and a hubby all day long and all week long so comfort and style is a huge priority for me
The Black Smooth Leather Ellie looks so comfortable.
Sandals? What are sandals? Is it sad that at 31 I can’t even remember when I last owned a pair? With wide, flat feet, bunions and orthotics, I had given up on ever being able to wear them – I had erased their existence from my memory. Even on summer holidays I’ve stuck to enclosed shoes to give me the support I need, but now I’ve discovered FRANKiE’S. I would love a pair of PENNi’s. They would be the perfect travel companion. Classic black to go with every outfit, just enough of a heel to make them dressy and, I sure hope, comfy enough to wear all day long.
I think FRANKIE4’s would have to be the best kind of travel insurance you can have! I find walking the streets of a new city so exciting and invariably contains the most special moments that I remember, the fragrance, sounds and people marked on me forever. To be able to wander unhindered in this luscious footwear would give me the freedom without the worry that my shoes won’t be able to keep up with my own ambitions of discovery!
Comfort and style don’t usually go hand in ha.. foot 🙂 But these look so comfy I just have to get me a pair!
My Husband and I are off for our first ever cruise and my first visit to Europe in July/August this year.
My youngest son has just left to live in England, so we will be catching up on missed hugs with him too.
I have absolutely no idea what to pack !
I’m hoping my Pisces feet would love to try a pair of Frankies too – here’s hoping
Ha as an older single Mum at 55, I need all the help I can get in keeping up with my 3 children and the youthful world that surrounds me.
Comfort and style is all I ask, a pair of Frankies would see me right:)
As a typical Mum of young children I spend so much money on their shoes, making sure I get good quality ones that will support their growing feet. Yet I seem to have set myself a $20 limit on my own shoes, I am just no good at spending money on myself. I should learn though, the shoes are of course never all that comfortable nor do they last all that long. I would really love a good quality pair of sandals that I could wear all day long comfortably, like the gorgeous FRANKiE4 Margie sandals.
Stylish & trendy; I’d love a new pair of shoes that isn’t my regular thongs or gym shoes, because that’s all I own! haha! FRANKiEs seem strong and durable, with a little bit of sexy too. 😀
My feet are sore and tired,
needing comfort, my desire.
Frankies will offer a relaxed sole
looking stylish and in control.
I’m a busy mum of 3 little ones (4, 3, and 1) and I am constantly on my feet all day! Due to this, my back and feet can suffer, however I still want to have stylish footwear whether I’m on the preschool-run or jetting off to Bali for a little family holiday. Plus it’d be great to have shoes that help to support my poor legs and back so that I only feel like the 32 years old that I am, rather than stooped and hobbling around at the end of a long day.
I need something other than thongs to wear around town during this last 2 months of pregnancy where my feet are swollen like ham hock!
To come good on the shoes I owe a friend. Our puppy chewed up my wife’s best friends favourite shoes when she was last here. Had to be the favourite didn’t it, anyway like to win to get her a new pair.
I wouldn’t like to win a pair of FRANKiEs, no not at all, I would LOVE to win a pair. Liz in black, will make all my footwear dreams come true 🙂
For some fabulous flatties to accentuate my legs and tootsies, because I stand grand, tall and proud naturally, without the need for an extra inch or two.
I’m traveling overseas in June and plan to do a lot of walking. I need something comfortable to chase two young children around in so these seem ideal! I also like that I don’t have to compromise my taste in style to be comfortable.
Ten thousand steps with arthritic toes?
Add a bunion… Tootsies say ‘No!”
Good support (without looking daggy) stop me going splat…
Margies from FRANKiE4 throughout summer solve all that!!!
Combining comfort with style; FRANKiE4 is doing it just fine.
So comfortable, it hugs my feet.
Impeccable quality and designs elite.
Frankie4 makes wearing footwear an absolute treat!
I just broke my walking sandals, these would be a great replacement!
I’ve always loved shoes and in my younger days, comfort and support did not matter! “The higher and the thinner the heel the better” I used to say! Unfortunately as I gotten older ( and dare I say wiser!) I have discovered I cant wear those shoes anymore and that comfort and support is vital to my feet and ankles. Unfortunately Ive found a lot of practical shoes are downright ugly and make me feel as if I’m in my eighties 🙁 Enter FRANKiE4’s- Finally a solution!!!! I don’t have to sacrifice fashion for comfort! The answer to my prayers! I can still look great and be comfortable, especially when Im travelling and covering a lot of ground! Yay!!!!!
As I age my joints get very sore when standing or walking, my feet swell up when flying, these dressy smart casuals would be ideal to ease my aches and pains and allow me to travel without discomfort. Thanks for the chance!
Oh yes please. I’m going on a South Pacific cruise next month to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and a pair of gold Margies would be the only pair of shoes I’d have to pack. Of course I’d be wearing my gold Jennies for boarding and shore excursions!
As a teacher, I’m on my feet all day and my shoes must be comfortable, but I still want o look professional and stylish. A pair of Frankie4 shoes would be perfect for me! But which to choose?! The silver Ellie sneakers look cute and the Margies sandals are lovely too. I would LOVE to win this competition, thank you.
Save My Soles.
As a ballerina I tied my toes into pointe shoes for dance,
I hardly nurtured my growing feet or gave them half a chance.
As an adult I bought my shoes to ‘match a dress’,
But as a mum entering my forties it’s time to confess…..
Glass Slippers are fine once a year for a ball,
but for everyday living
I need Frankie4!
……………………….
Hi there, i’d really love to win a pair of Frankie 4 shoes. They’e the perfect balance of comfort and style and would really compliment my lifestyle.
I am turning the big 50 this year and to celebrate I’m planning a trip to the UK to meet my birth mother and 2 brothers. I’m planning on doing a whole lot of walking exploring the village where they live and all the gorgeous countryside the UK has to offer. I’d really love to be comfortable and look stylish during my big adventure
I’d love a new pair of silver ELLiEs as my current pair are still in good condition but are now my favourite work shoes.
Some shiny new ones for ‘good’ are on my list!
My husband commented yesterday that his shoe heels are higher than mine. I do need a dress shoe for an important function in April. Time to try Frankie and find that perfect evening heel!
I have been wondering what shoes to bring, as they will determine what clothes I wear. Ftrankie4 shoes sound perfect !
Hi. I’m off to Montenegro for a swim trek holiday and at the end of each day, when my feet are soft and waterlogged from swimming several km, I need some soft stylish shoes that won’t rub! – not thongs! and to be honest I would love a pair of shoes with the same name as myself. I’m often called Frankie! To be able to say “Hi I’m Frankie and point to my shoes and say and so are these”. Now that would be cool!
My last post is 10 favourite villages in Italy. http://www.franstraveltales.com
Hi
My husband and I are travelling to New York in September and I only wanted to pack 2 pairs of shoes and they are both frankie4 shoes. Silver Ellie’s for everyday walking in style and a pair of liz boots for glaming it up for an evening of walking!!
I would be totally gobsmacked if I won a pair of these lovely shoes. They look so comfy and very versatile. I think I would wear them for work as I am on my feet all day and also would wear them casual. I need reliable shoes and I think I would get many miles out of the Frankie4’s!
At 57 years of age my dreams are about to come true – 3 weeks in Ireland and Britain, a month visiting 12 countries in Europe. We have waited 40 years to go – not having much travel experience the packing information is great. I would love to include a new pair of Frankie4 in my bag. I met a lady once who was wearing a pair of Frankie4 shoes and I complimented them and she said these shoes have walked all over Europe! I was impressed with her statement and would love to wear a pair for my trip.
Hi Jo, I would love to win a pair of awesome FRANKiE4’s to take on my next holiday. I too love to travel and explore and get upset and frustrated when sore feet stop me. So bring on fun times with FRANKiE4
I would love to win a pair of awesome FRANKiE4’s for my next holiday. I love to travel and explore like you Jo and there is no time for sore feet on holidays. Help me make the most of my next trip with happy feet.
I’d love to win a pair for my wonderful mum! She always wears the cheapest and worst shoes and I can’t seem to convince her getting a good pair is worth it! She’s going on a six week trip around Europe in May and she could really do with some wonderful Frankies on her feet! Plus some good shoes might spare poor dad from giving her so many foot rubs!
Oh I would love a pair of Frankie4’s. One of the reasons I don’t travel much is because my feet are, well, special. If I could just find a comfy pair of shoes my passport would be full! Thanks for the competitions and I love reading your blog, though I’m not 50 yet, it’s a great read.
Hi Jo,
Currently I’m planning (and madly saving) for a trip to France later this year. I need my feet and footwear to be capable of transporting me amongst vineyards, farmers markets, rustic bistros, cobblestone laneways, as well as chic boutiques, patisseries, and all those landmarks I’ve long dreamt of. I believe a pair of Frankie4’s could deliver in bucket loads, maintaining comfort with sophisticated good looks and supporting my over-pronated feet.
I’d love to try Frankie4 shoes as I’m inspired by your detailed reviews Jo. I’ll cross my fingers!!
With a newborn and toddler, there’s no rest for me! I’m always on my (size 11!) feet! Finding great quality, comfortable and supportive shoes that don’t look like they belong to my Nanna is like finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! Please help me find the gold!
Hi Jo, a blast from the past. It’s as well you are in Perth and I am down here in South West. I really covet a pair of those Ellie silver shoes you were wearing in the airport. I am going on a 3 day Food and Wine cruise from Fremantle in April( yes they are ‘on’ again)
Those FRANKiE4 shoes look fabulous. My book is with Editor and hope to be published in the not too distant future, so those shoes might be made for celebratory walking somewhere other than Bunners!
Good to see you that you are looking great advertising ‘Lifestyle Fifty’ just by being you!
Hello Glenys, and thanks for popping by 🙂 How wonderful that you’re going on a Food and Wine cruise in April – have fun. And wow! That’s great that your book is with Editor – can’t wait to see it published.
Style AND comfort is the winning combination of FRANKiEs which is why I’d love win this fabulous footwear.
It is hard to find shoes that offer both, isn’t it, Lisa 🙂
We are not in a financial position to travel and most likely never will but we can always dream. Like most people I love to walk and do so everyday even if it’s going into the city and window shop. I would love a pair of Frankie4 footwear as I have never had a pair of shoes that are really comfortable and stylish. They would compliment any outfit even shorts and jeans. Thanks.
Hey Rhonda, I hope your dreams do come true 🙂
Hello I would love Frankie4 shoes as whoo hoo hubby and I are off to Roma!! Ooh La La!! First post 50’s holiday together (and it’s overseas!!) since our girls have grown up. To say I’m exited is an understatement. Am trying madly to save so these would come in very handy (something I would not have to budget for!) Thanks for the opportunity.
Sandra
Woo hoo, Sandra, Viva la Roma – have fun!
I might be over fifty but that doesn’t mean I have to wear granny shoes! Frankie shoes are practical AND stylish.
Absolutely not Maria! Yes and Yes!
I am going to tassie on a cruise
Which shoes to take? How do I choose?
I NEED to take FRANKiE4 shoes with me
So I can walk everywhere and see
All the exciting and new adventures that await
The girl and her husband of years…38
Congratulations on being married 38 years Cath!
Thank you. It seems such a long time but doesn’t feel it. We are looking forward to the Princess cruise to Tasmania soon…we have not done a lot of travelling, so this is a taste of Tassie for us.
I have really bad feet with bunions on both and I suffer terribly when we travel and do loads of walking. I normally resort to wearing my runners, which are most unflattering! During our recent trip to South East Asia I wore Orthaheel Thongs, however because of the extreme humidity they rubbed on my tender feet which developed into sores. So I’m willing to try sandals which give great support and hopefully don’t rub on my feet. FRANKiES sandals not only look great but may be the answer to my tender feet!
Oh shame, Kathy. That sounds so painful. Nothing worse than painful feet when you want to get out and about.
When travelling, we walk many miles to see amazing new cultures customs and lifestyles, having comfortable but cool footwear is essential, particularly at my age of 66yrs
So glad that you are travelling, walking and exploring Cheryl 🙂
I have great big ham hocks for feet, they are so truly ugly that they have appeared in an ad campaign for ugly feet fixes. But these sandals look like they might disguise the defects and definitely look more stylish than sticking my shockers into shoe boxes and going the shuffle. I’d love a pair Jo. Pick me and I will post a piccie of the terrible 2 trotting out in ’em
Oh Sue, I’m sure they are not as bad as you say!
Oooooh, I want the ELLiEs, the MARGiEs and the PENNI shoe,
I love that FRANKiE4s come in big sizes that fit long feet too,
I want some toot suite to save my tired soles.
So I can walk mile upon mile,
In comfort and style.
A talented poet to boot! Hiya Annabel 🙂
It was such a delight to meet you today! And I LOVED your shoes xx
Thanks Liz! Fabulous to meet you too x
Well like Jan from the retirement blog,my best friend (who also happens to be my husband) and I are off to Bali in May. We are spending one week in Ubud, partly inspired by you and another in South Kuta. I live in Cairns also so rubber things seem to be the go for just about anywhere up here. I would really appreciate some new sandals that I could wear especially walking around Ubud and at the resort’s restaurants. Overseas travel is new to us and on our first trip to New Zealand last year I made a poor choice in covered shoes and am still sporting a very bruised big toe nail as a result so I am even more aware that good fitting shoes are important and all the Frankie range seem to fit the bill.
I’m glad that I had a hand in inspiring you to visit Ubud, Lesley 🙂 I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
As a fellow Pisces I can confirm the foot issues are real! Apparently Pisces were Mermaids who were not meant to walk…of course, I’d love to swan around like a Mermaid but I need to get shizz done of a day. I’d love a pair of Frankie 4 shoes to lavish some much needed comfort on my tender feet. Thanks for such a fabulous competition!
Hey Nat, another Pisces – bows 😉 Our feet sure weren’t meant for footwear.
I am going on holiday soon and would love some spectacular comfy shoes to wear so I don’t look old and frumpy. Frankie4’s always look fantastic and I would LOVE to win a pair and be able to walk without pain and look good as well.
They certainly help keep us looking foot-ishly-stylish, Cath 🙂
Hi Johanna! I would love to win some Frankie4 shoes to make my upcoming trip to Europe worry free. At 50 (soon to be 51) I am making my first trip to England! My last overseas jaunts have been plagued by a debilitating case of plantar fasciitis that lasted for 2 years. I know how important it is to look after your feet and I know how sore feet can make a holiday very stressful when you feel that you can’t walk anywhere because of pain. I’ve been making a big effort to be super healthy for this trip but sore feet could ruin a beautiful holiday. I would be overjoyed to win some of these fantastic shoes.
Wow, that’s wonderful that you’re off to England soon, Meredith!
I have found as I get older (or maybe more aware) that a functional shoe/sandal is everything. I love the Frankie4 blend of functionality with sweet spot and style, perfect combination for everyday and travel footwear. Living in Perth i travel to Asia at least twice a year and would love to be able to wear a pair of Frankie4’s on my travels 🙂
Hi Karen, lovely that you get to Asia twice a year. Wonder where you like best?
Shoes, shoes, shoes everywhere! I have a cupboard of them. When shopping overseas, it is not clothes but shoes that fit and are comfortable that I seek and now I find they have been hiding in my own country. I would definitely love to slip a pair on my not so Cinderella beautiful feet!
Haha Suzanne! I do know what you mean about a cupboard full of shoes (most of which don’t fit).
Due to severe back problems at present, my shoe wardrobe is all but unwearable. I need support, but don’t want to look like an old lady; I love sandals and living in Queensland there are many beautiful styles, but they don’t offer that all important support. I would love to win a pair of these wonderfully stylish FRANKiE4’s. Good luck everyone, but I hope I win.
Hi Sherelee, yes it’s nice to be able to mix things up a bit
Hi Karen, I know it’s a delicate balance.
I know what you mean about having one pair of sandals for walking and another pair for relaxing in when travelling Jo. When cycling through the rice paddies of Cambodia I often had to put my feet down when I got a wobble up on the narrow paddy divides. My sandals were encased in mud – pretty bright orange mud – but mud all the same. I had no choice but to wash them in the shower. I was a little soggy underfoot at dinner that night. I can see myself looking glamorous, cool and comfortable in a pair of FRANKiE4’s.
Hey Jan, yes it’s almost impossible to only have one pair if you are travel ‘multitasking’.
My hubby & I are heading off to Europe in August and I think a pair of Frankie4 shoes would just do the trick for all the walking we are sure to do. I already wear orthotics and find it hard to get good shoes to suit them which I am sure Frankie4 shoes will!!
Thanks I will email you next week Chris 🙂
Ooh sounds exciting Lorraine
I like to do some retail therapy as part of my holidays so need room in my luggage, and shoes take up so much space that having multi-purpose ones is brilliant. And my preferred method of exploration is walking, I find it a much better way to get the feel of a place (well, that and public transport, which can get interesting!) so comfortable shoes are a must, stylish is a bonus. My trusty hiking boots serve me well, but my feet (like the rest of me) don’t want to be wearing the same thing day in day out. Frankie sounds like a brilliant range of products that are great for my travel needs and also everyday.
These shoes are made for walking!!! That’s what I will do.
Thank you for introducing Frankie, comfortable shoes are hard to find.
I’m singing along in my head, Sandra!
Well I must admit Jo, I didn’t think these shoes would be for me. But the more I read about them and see them on you I think I’d like to give them a go and not be such a shoe snob. I think it’s because I struggle to wear casual, but I can see they are very smart. Am now at an age where comfort, style and what’s good for me isn’t about compromise with choices like these. Thanks for bringing Frankie to our attention xxx
Hi Sherelee, yes it’s nice to be able to mix things up a bit
After an inelegant fall(!) on the Thames Embankment, London, I need shoes that will support me so this will not happen again. The embarassment (my husband ignored me for a while after)! And my knee has not been the same since! I will continue to keep walking and travelling though, and it would nice to do both with style and support on my feet.
Oh dear Joanne, I’m sorry about your fall and your knee. I went flying the other day (NB: Not wearing my FRANKiE4s!) and landed on my knee (ouch!) I’m hoping it’s going to recover.
I’m going to Europe,
There’ll be sightseeing galore,
With all of that walking,
My feet will be sore.
Unless I take FRANKiE,
Along in my case,
‘Cos then my feet,
Will feel really ace!
And with FRANKiE along,
The trip will be a hoot,
Not only will I be comfy,
I’ll be stylish to boot!
Ahah Carolyn … here’s to your feet being ace, stylish and comfy!
Thanks Jo!
Who can compete with that? Love it
They sound fantastic. We’re heading away soon and with plantar fasciitis in both feet and nodules in my archilles I’m really concerned I’m not going to be able to do the miles on my feet that I’m wanting to and used to being able to do. These sound like a great idea for city travel when you want to look presentable with still walk all day.
Ow Toni. Sounds like you need great fitting shoes for your travels.
FRANKiEs sound so versatile and comfortable which are both plusses when looking for a shoe for travel or anytime in fact. I would love to win a pair just so I can try them out. We do a lot of walking when we travel and I know that I need to look after my feet more and more as I age. Who can enjoy the sights when travelling if you have sore feet from ill-fitting or uncomfortable footwear? FRANKiEs to the rescue!
So right Jill. Nothing worse than sore feet hurting.
I can no longer stand walking my son to prep in my thongs! It’s been less than a week and my feet are killing me walking up and down hills twice everyday…..Sneakers and dresses are not an option.
You need some good shoes for thise hills Michelle!
Am on my feet all day and would love to be able to wear shoes I don’t have to change in between clients, just to wear comfort all Day would be bliss☺️
Hi Sandra, yes, here’s to comfort all day!
Plain and simple: I would love to test out myself to see if the comfort is all it is cracked up to be.
I think one of the great things is the leather which stretches to your feet better tban man made materials, Fran.
Jo, like you I travel a lot and walking is always part of a holiday for us. I too like to keep stylish without sacrificing comfort and some Frankie sandals would be perfect for our May trip to Bali. I love the idea of sandals that can be adjusted, the warm climate plus an international flight always challenges my feet for a few days.
Hi Jan, yes the sweet spot is to marry style with comfort for travelling shoes isn’t it 🙂
Oh Bali! How lovely Jan!
